Programmers notes
Industry Associate
This a play which explores the relationship of two astronauts who are on a research mission. It explores loneliness, purpose and what would one do under extreme pressure. A very emotive play which tugs at the audiences’ heartstrings as well as being a punchy sci-fi thriller. This was brought back after a popular run last year and has been edited to a choppy 60 minutes. Would easily suit black box studios and would attract a younger, perhaps teenage, audience.

This multi-award-winning sci-fi thriller presents two female astronauts aboard a failing spacecraft on a climate-saving mission. The concept cleverly combines intimacy with cosmic stakes, exploring themes of professional marginalisation and environmental crisis. The execution delivers exceptional performances and immersive staging that transforms a small venue into a convincing deep-space environment through visual, auditory, and innovative olfactory elements. The intimate scale and feminist themes position it well for international touring to drama festivals and studio theatres. The audience encompasses theatre enthusiasts, sci-fi fans, and environmentally conscious viewers seeking intelligent drama.
