Further information on the ambitions for the work:
We plan to tour ALLURA to festivals, theatres, and performing arts venues internationally. The strength of ALLURA’s touring appeal lies in the unique theatrical experience it brings to audiences, making it an attractive option, either as part of a series or as a special event, to theatergoers of all ages, as evidenced by the company’s 2026 Edinburgh Festival Fringe run.
The show is designed to deliver a strong and exciting visual and aural experience with a small physical footprint.
With their stylized, signature fusion of multi-disciplinary dance and theatre, SuitcaseDT embarks on a spellbinding odyssey through a dreamy world of rhythm and movement. Tap, jazz, and contemporary styles collide and intertwine, chasing human connection through shiny distractions that shimmer, mislead, and seduce. Beneath the polish and pulse, the journey quietly reveals a deeper truth: the connection they seek has been there all along, hidden in plain sight.
Previous Touring Experience
Directors have extensive experience touring nationally and internationally. As a new company, Suitcase Dance Theatre has performed throughout the Seattle area, and at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
